NEE DIE IDEEN, IN HONOR OF THE PENCIL

The exhibition project Drawing "Nee the Ideas – in honor of the pencil" is about artistic positions of hand drawing. This ranges from gestural and abstract to representational and ornamental-conceptual positions.

Especially in times when artificial intelligence (AI) is declared the producer of art, the reflection on handwriting seems increasingly important. 

Drawing has to do with setting and leaving signs, it is the most spontaneous and uncomplicated medium of artistic individuality. As a form of reflection on paper, drawing is both a reflection of the outside world and the inner world. This explains the diversity of the positions presented.

This exhibition is open during the Short Nite of Galleries and Museums on Saturday, April 11, 2026, 7 PM - 12 PM
