Working scholarship
Due to the ongoing renovation of the Kunsthaus and the resulting loss of flat and studio for scholarship holders, the Association is currently unable to advertise its scholarships worldwide. At present, unfortunately, only artists can apply who live in Hessen or Rheinhessen and work in their own studio.
The scholarships are awarded for a period of four months and are endowed with 1,250 euros per month. At the end of the scholarship, the scholarship holders present their work created during this period in a solo exhibition in the Bellevue Hall. The exhibition will be documented in a six-page leaflet catalogue (DIN A4), which is financed by the Association. The call for applications is aimed at artists who have completed their studies in the field of fine arts at least three years ago and can provide evidence of exhibition activity. However, artists without a degree in the field of fine arts may also apply if their artistic professionalism is testified through their work, exhibition activity and references. There is no age limit.
Exhibitions ”1:1“ and SOLO
Our exhibition concept ”1:1“ provides for one artist from the region to conceive a joint exhibition with an artist from elsewhere.
For a SOLO exhibition, artists can apply without restrictions.
