The Wiesbadener Fototage will also be hosting an exhibition at the Kunstverein Bellevue-Saal in 2025. We live in a time in which the future feels anything but clear. It can no longer be planned, shows little promise, generates more fear than hope, is nebulous and, even worse, seems to be a terrain of countless uncertainties. We are at a crossroads. Calls for fundamental change are getting louder and louder.
But what should they look like? What kind of new world do we want to create together? What other worlds are even possible? How do we want to live? What do we dream of? What do we want?
These are just some of the questions that the main exhibitions of the 13th Wiesbaden Photo Days will be addressing under the motto ‘ Future? What future? ‘ will deal with. The selected photo series and video works are intended to question supposed certainties, offer food for thought, raise hopes and open up new horizons.
